What are the uses of language?
In other words, how do we use language and what purposes do we use language for?

The use of language is to communicate, associate, and conjugate. The communicate part is the most important part because I love to communicate and talk my head off with people. You can also use words to let out frustrations. Language is the best part of living do to the things you can learn through word of mouth.

Some uses for language could be translating im bilingual and its great, I can help someone who might not be speaking the language everyone else Is speaking. The greatest use is simply just being able to communicate. Another use is being able to defend yourself, someone might be insulting you or a close person and you’re not going to take it so you will retaliate.

There is a lot of different uses of language from speeches, poetry, expression, communication singing, communicating, explaining, and delegating. There is an immense amount of uses for language, my favorite among them would have to be singing. I cant sing, not even a little but it is very enjoyable to hear. The most important use I feel would be communication, how would we get anything done if we couldn’t simply communicate with each other? It is the bread and butter of our society, and without it i cant even imagine what the world would be like.

language is the method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. Also, any nonverbal method of expression or communication. Some synonyms for language is speech, writing, communication, conversation, speaking, talking, talk, discourse. My favorer language is English because that’s all I use everyday. The importance of language is essential to every aspect and interaction in our everyday lives. We use language to inform the people around us of what we feel, what we desire, and question/understand the world around us. We communicate effectively with our words, gestures, and tone of voice in a multitude of situation.

To communicate is the one use of language that I think is the most important. The reason that I think that this is the most important reason is because if we couldn’t communicate with each other we wouldn’t feel close to each other we would be alone never to speak to anyone or know what someone else feels. Think about how you would feel if you could never talk to anyone ever again. Communicating is the one thing that we do every day regardless whether it’d be typing or just the way we look at one another we would never be able to understand what anyone else was thinking if we wouldn’t ever communicate.

We can use language to communicate with people weather its with words, sign language, and braille. We use language to serve as our expression and emotions through words., such as stories or poetry. Without the use of language we would have a difficult time understanding the world around us. What better way to learn new things then trough word of mouth.

Some uses of language are being able to communicate with each other with actual words. You can also learn sign language in order to speak to others who cannot hear properly You are also able to use language to present your intent to others such as the example of yelling out to others on the street to express your emotions. My favorite use of language is to be able to talk to others and being able to express how you feel with your words so people know how you feel. Talking about intellectual topics is also very interesting in my opinion because you get a better understand upon new topics you’ve never heard of before.

The use of languages is about communication. The use and purpose of languages is what you to speak to other people including speaking other foreign languages in other countries when using them.

My favorite use of language is to use my non native languages so I can communicate with people from different countries. I can ask for direction, for help when I am abroad which is awesome.

The most obvious use of language is to communicate with others, without language we wouldn’t be able to tell people things. Another use of language is the ability to label objects or people, say somebody pointed at an object and asked you what it was, you might say that the object is a chair or desk, but without the use of language you wouldn’t be able to tell them because their are no words for it. Another important use of language is to express how we are feeling to others. If we are angry are voice might get higher or we might start using harsher words, if we didn’t have language we wouldn’t be able to do that, we would use boring words and speak in a monotone voice. In my opinion the most important use of language is to communicate to other, if we didn’t have that no one would be able to have a relationship, discover new things, or express how we are feeling in the slightest.

Some uses of language are discrete and some are very obvious. Examples of discrete uses are whispers, hums, and even tones or whistles. More obvious ways would include regular conversation, song, lecture, scolding and praises. These are just some of the ways language is used. my favorite would be lecturing. In lecturing their are many things that can be shared with others and even learned in retrospect of the things you put together as a material you would like the listener to digest.
We use language to express how we feel about some things. It is obvious that not all things cannot be put into words and viza-verza. I think a majority of those things would be categorized as dance and not song.

Language can be used in various amounts of ways, we use it every day to communicate with others, and we use it to express emotions and what we think and also, writing is a part of language as well. Showing/telling someone what’s happening or what to do. I don’t necessarily think there’s one specific type of language that is more important, because if you look and think about it we use all types of language a day to let others know how we are feeling or what’s going on in our heads or just purely by communicating on everyday life situations. I personally do not have a favorite type of language, it’s all truly amazing what we can do through verbally speaking, mentally speaking, or it could be just gestures to show like; “hey, let’s leave” or, “check this guy out, he’s a damn idiot.

Language is the best thing that we’ve learned how to do. Even though we managed to make do before creating the concept of language, body language and emotions can only be translated so far physically before we have to use an idea or a word to describe our feeling. Can anyone actually truly know how happy another human being feels or how sad or angry? You can listen to a person talk about their day and only words give us a generic idea of what their day was like.
That is the greatest skill language has given us. It has given us the ability to share that personal narration that we have in our head, the ideas we’ve come up with, the bad jokes that we’ve heard for the rest of time. As soon as we have the ability to learn how to speak to another human being and understand what they’re saying, we are set for life.
My favorite thing about language or language is jargon. Jargon is the creation of words or terms for a profession or a group of people. Think of it as slang but for certain groups that create it. Slang is more evolving with all of the people while jargon is daily terms and words for positions. It’s typically not understandable to people outside of that group or job, but learning the history or the reason why a term is used is so interesting to me. It’s like learning the history of a how a language was developed, even if it is just words.

There are many types of language if you really think of it. There’s verbal language, music language, body language (not necessary touching someone else. Ex: dance) and many more. Obviously the most common one is verbal when you speak to another person and have a conversation. Personally all three of these type of languages are my favorite because not only dos it let me communicate with other but they also let me express how I feel and what I want someone to know. I normally use these three on a daily basis while talking to others, singing and dancing or even hugging someone I love

We use language through hand signs and speaking. The reason why we use language is for many reasons. Some use it to keep up with the heritage or others may use it because its the only way they could speak.
