What is the most valuable thing you’d bet on a coin toss?  Money?  Your family?  Your life?  Why or why not?

If you finish early, consider the most outlandish bet you’ve ever seen or heard first hand.  Describe it in detail.

  1. The most valuable thing would be my lunch options. I’m not a person who gambles. I prefer to use facts and numbers. Using chance to determine my future or the lives of those I hold dear would be to much for me to risk in the game of life.

  2. What would I bet on a coin toss? I would bet my most valued treasure (so far) which is a story that I have written. Why, you may ask, because it is time to let it go. Of course I love the story and I have nurtured it from once upon a time- till the end. I value it over my family because, they are the most important, value that I can not afford to lose. Its quite shameful that if I loose this bet I will loose 4-6 years worth of hard work and pain. However its quite a thrilling bet.

  3. The most valuable thing I would bet on a coin toss would probably have to be money if it was worth it. Another thing I would bet on a coin toss is a seat at the movies or a game. I would never bet my life or family on a coin toss its just not something you do. I know that there is a lot of crazy gamblers in the world that would bet there lives on a coin toss.

  4. I would not bet anything on a coin toss because I am not a person who likes to bet. If I bet anything valuable, I know that would get it back at all. I would not be gaining anything from it and I won’t be getting anything that I want out of it.

  8. I would bet My cat, the reason I would bet my cat is because I know I am not going to lose. I never lose! Losing is for losers, which I am not. My cat is an amazing person and I could live with out. I have had him since I was in fourth grade .

  9. What i would bet on in a coin toss is a professional basketball or football game. The reason why i say i would bet on this is because it will not hurt me physically, but might just hurt me in my financial area. In the end money is not most important to me any way but my life and health is.

  11. I’d never bet anything on a coin toss even the least valuable thing let alone the most valuable thing. The reason is simple, I am not into doing risky stuffs and that’s one of them. I personally have never heard anything about bet on a coin toss because I am from a country that use money notes, no coins.

  12. The most I would bet on a coin toss would probably be a couple dollars. I’m not much for making huge bets because my luck is pretty poor. I’m sure that if I were to make a wager over something large I would lose and kick myself afterwards. The weirdest bet I’ve ever heard of was in the song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” In the song a young boy bets he can play a fiddle better than the devil. If the boy wins he gets a fiddle made out of gold, however if the devil wins he gets the boy’s eternal soul. In the end the boy ends up winning and gets his gold fiddle.

  14. With my luck? Nothing. When it come to me, a 1 out of 2 chance is actually zero. I am that unlucky. I wouldn’t bet because the moment I did, it becomes a double sided coin. So I’ll keep my valuables, thank you!

  15. I have not really bet anything valuable during a coin toss. Well… maybe like $40, because I was confident on my probability and chance ration with the coin flipping heads twice and then switching and going tails, and luckily enough out of all the possibilities that it was going to be; heads, heads, and then tails. It was surely enough that outcome so hah $40 extra in my pocket…

  16. I would not bet on anything valuable on the whim of a coin toss. My family is way to important to take a 50/50 chance depending on a coin. If I were playing a game of some sorts then sure ill take my chances. I recently went to Vegas and I first hand watched as someone spent all there money on blackjack. A man was so addicted to winning his money back that he just kept on betting and losing. The more he lost the more the man kept betting. He kept saying I have to get my money back. Then finally he had no more chips left and he had to be escorted by security to leave the casino because he would not leave the table. He started calling the dealer a cheater and said ” everyone stop playing they are stealing your money they are all crooks.” It was quit a scene but just this one example shows the detrimental effects gambling can have on a person who doesn’t know when to stop. I tried my luck in Vegas and I am no millionaire but I did win a few bucks.

I wouldn’t describe it as a piece of crap to them, of course, I would describe it as a vintage 50 inch color pièce si la merde television with a free Atari. that ought to get them, its also a win win for me.

  19. The most valuable thing that I would bet in a coin toss would be the coin itself. There is too much fate and chance put into a coin toss to bet anything else. A 50/50 percent probability is not the best odds, even though they are the fair odds.

  20. I think that the most valuable thing that I bet in a coin toss are my chakra balls. The reason that I would wager these in a coin toss is because even though they are very valuable to me they can never replace the memory behind them so regardless I can never lose that feeling and connection.

What i would bet on a coin toss that is valuable to me is my family and friends because they care about you to what you want to achieve in your lifetime dream in becoming what you want to do and you can’t bet on that. And if you did, then you wouldn’t be yourself, you would just be another person that used to care for others and wouldn’t do anything anymore.

  23. The most valuable thing I would bet on a coin toss is money because I would not chose to bet anything else that is more valuable. I would not bet anything else because the chances of losing is 1/2, and the chances of winning is also 1/2.

  24. The most dreadful bet I would ever do would be, of course, the one involving my family.
I’m sure all of us will agree with this statement because, in few words, our family is priceless.
I’ve ever believed that the love and warmth from your loving family is incomparable, thus, making it so valuable and unique.
We only get to live with our family once in life.

  25. This question is strange. What would I gain from the coin toss? Anything I want? I wouldn’t bet anything that I don’t personally own because that’s rude (my family, my house, my dog, etc.) I’m not really risking a coin toss though on my gorgeous looks or my 29 in my ACT. I’d be better off making a contract with the Devil.

  26. Life is the most valuable thing. Life because in life you get money, have a family, make friends, etc. Therefore, I wouldn’t bet my life on it. Since its a coin toss, I would bet money. Money is the least valuable item, so I would bet on that. Also money can be replaced, money isn’t life, unless your materialistic person.

I’ll lose because I know that my male friend will never let that car go he’s in love with that car. And I’ll make it a funny joke only anyway. No money at all it wouldn’t be fun. Family can not know they will be mad at me for doing it. Not my life, Why! Or why not? Because my life is not a bet. I believe in myself not the things around me.

If I had to finish early consider the most outlandish bet I have ever made you have seen or heard first hand I’ll go crazy. A bet is like a infatuation ones you start you can’t stop. Then you can get in trouble, people can’t trust you no more. Describe in detail!
