  1. Yes I do believe the human brain can develop. We know it can because we have watched countless numbers of people expand there brain size and be able to obtain a vast Amount of knowledge. As they say you learn something new everyday.

  2. The answer to the first question is yes your brain can grow. From the article that we read the scientist did a study showing that though who practiced a skill that they didn’t know learn and then were able to preform the skill pretty well. The reason why practicing a skill is so important is because if we don’t practice then we will forget the slightest thing that we learned.

  3. Yes o do belive humans can expan their brain. Everytime you learn somthing new and you keep pratecing that subject your brain will expand and keep learning more. Bascly Exercising your brains out. The reason why we have to practice the skill is to make are brain exercise and it will expan the brain we won’t forget what we have learn.

  4. It was pretty interesting to read. I had learned that a brain’s potential can increase upon practicing strategies to become more adept in a skill. The more you practice the more you learn!

  5. Develops as you grow up. Decisions change/alter, emotions, ideas change. Practice makes perfect, which makes it so important. Practicing makes you develop knowledge about different subjects, sports, arts, etc.

  6. Question 1
Of course the human brain can develop! the article makes three key points where this really shines.

    1) Dr. Wittenberg, a scientist from Wake Forest University, said “We used to think adults can’t form new brain connections, but now we know that isn’t true . The adult brain is like a muscle, and we need to exercise it.”

2)Strengthening the “math” part of your brains usually happens when you try hard on challenging math problems. But it’s not just about effort. You also need to learn skills that let you use your brain in a smarter way.

3)In one study, scientists found a group of adults who were not jugglers. They taught half how to practice juggling in the right way. These people practiced for a long time and got much better at juggling. The other half didn’t practice, and didn’t get better.

    Question 2
We’ve all heard it before, “practice makes perfect.” The article explained how the brain is not the hard and unyeilding. But its actually moldable, even in our later years. Practicing a skill or craft is so important because as you learn new and challenging tiny connections in your brain, called neurons, actually multiply and become stronger.

  7. I do believe that the human brain can develop because when you learn to do something new you master it and you keep doing more and more and master a lot of things. For instance, learning a foreign language, doing math exercises. ..etcetera. Practicing a skill is important because it makes our brains’ muscles get stronger. It is like exercising the brain, the more a person practices, the stronger the brain get. Practicing a skill with good strategies also help the brain becomes smarter.

  8. I believe the human brain can develop. In the article people who couldn’t juggle were taught how to, and then when the scientists doing the experiment scanned the participants brain the part of the brain that dealt with juggling was larger than it was before. Also there are these things called neurons in our brains, that as we learn, grow, strengthen, and expand. Finally they did an experiment were a group of animals were kept in captivity, and another group was kept in an environment were they could stimulate themselves. t=The scientists found that the animals kept in an environment were they could stimulate themselves had brains that weighed more. Practicing a skill is so important because it is the only way to improve at something. No one starts off good at everything. When we learn new things the neurons in our brain multiply and grow stronger

  9. Yes, because the human brain can develop so many things and how, we can learn by teaching ourselves what we want to do. Practicing a skill is something important that we want to do because what our brain does is improves muscle memory and can learn new things once you try them in a everyday life.

  10. one way we develop are brain is through juggling, we develop are brain through challenging math problems by practicing the right way and we workout the brain as if it was a muscle to get it stronger. Practicing these skills is extremely important because it activates certain part depending on what you do. the juggling shows that the visual and motor areas of the brain increased. when studied we first looked at animals and how the ones who played with toys growing up had a bigger brain and where smarter than the ones who lived without toys. the toys acted as a learning tool to help work out the brain muscles.

  11. Yes the human brain can definitely develop just by following the three important steps which are practice, learning, and picking up some good strategies. First, Practice, practicing for a long time helps one get better at whatever they are trying to master. Second, learning how to do something actually grow parts of the brain, and lastly learning good strategies for practicing and determination eventually turns into success. Practicing a skill is really important because the more you practice the better you will get. By challenging the brain it cause permanent changes to the brain.

  12. The human brain can develop because researcher has shown that the brain is more like a muscle – it changes and gets stronger when you use it. The more you challenge your brain to learn, the more your brain cells grow and produce. Practicing a skill is important because the more you train at something, the better you get. It is also good to use strategies and learn something new because you will learn faster.

  13. yes the human brain can develop a living testament to this would be i believe homework from school. This helps you practice a subject and over time you will get better. Then practicing is good because it helps you remember what to do in whatever it is you do. Without practicing you will forget what you’ve learned.

  14. Yes, I do believe the human brain can expand and develop because the universe is filled with vast amounts of infinite knowledge and answers that still have yet to be untold. Little do most of us know is that the pineal gland is pretty much the all seeing eye of the mind also known as eye of Ra, also known as the third eye. Which is the key to all access of infinite knowledge, we continue to stay hungry for more answers, more truths about the universe around us. Knowing too much about something can either terrorize you or get you killed to a certain extent..

Practicing a skill is important because it get the neurons in the nervous system going and a faster motion which then starts to form a memory pattern. By having this we can learn something quick or in an amount of time and hone the skill providing from the practice.

In my opinion, I do believe that our brain can develop with practice regardless on what you’re trying to learn. The way we know we can develop the brain is in the part of the brained call the cortex. From there when you learned something or trying to learn something, tiny nerve cells called neurons, which multiply as new material is being processed. As the nerve branches grow stronger, based on the new material, you’re ability to do the new material becomes easier for you to accomplish.

  16. the human brain can develop because as people read and write and learn new things the brain in a way can develop more because of the knowledge you gain. We know this because of the way we feel and think and use our brains. The practicing skill is very important to our brain because you learn how to think critically which is a good thing and to our brains it means something good.

  17. Yes, the human brain can develop because it is like a muscle-it changes and gets stronger when you use it. The more you challenge your mind to learn the more your brain grows.
The brain grows more when you learn something new, and less when you practice things you already know. So it is very important to learn new things.

  18. 1)-Practicing:
If you are constantly practicing, your brain develops memory. An example for me would be, the guitar. When I first began to play, I would constantly practice chords. In doing so I’ve developed muscle memory, which has allowed me to pick up the guitar when I am in the mood of playing.
    – Effort:
If one gives the effort they are then encouraged to move forward and beyond their goal. An example for me would be, with my guitar playing. I enjoy playing the guitar because, it allows me to relieve stress and feel cool. Learning a new chord or riff makes me happy and allows me to put in the effort and time to learn something, no matter how challenging it is.
    -Help:
Asking for help allows you to learn and develop in a new way, in which you take from a different perspective. When I started taking guitar lessons obviously, the teacher was pretty helpful. He taught me where to place my fingers on the fret board and different strumming styles. When I would get lost or confused, he would stop and take me back a couple of steps to make sure I understood the chord procession.

2)Practicing a skill can strengthen ones brain, just as constant exercise can give one physical strength. Practicing allows ones brain to stretch, grow and eventually store the knowledge that one has retained. Lastly, it also allows one to challenge themselves, in order to achieve growth.

  19. The human brain can develop. While I think it can be to a lesser degree as you get older since cells eventually slow down their dividing process, the constant use of the brain is much like working out your muscles like the article argues. You can still get ripped when you’re 50, just with practice and routine. The brain is amazing at creating new pathways for people who are missing something or need more support. There was a lady who had lost the use of the left half of her brain but she could still function on a normal human level (though I think she had to train herself to read again or something). Plus people’s mindsets change as you get older, you learn more about yourself and the world. You pick up new interests and new habits, either replacing or keeping your old things.

If you don’t practice, you go stale. I did rowing for a year in high school and then quit. I was really good in terms of health. Then my slight biceps went away and I returned to neutral scrawny condition. If you asked me to teach you how to row, I would be rusty in terms of physical skill and memory in terms of how to row. You need practice to get good and to stay good. That’s it.

Yes, The human brain starts to develop as a child. How do we know? As children we grow, and we go to our daily doctor visits to seek answers… Practicing a skill is so important because once you get it down you can master it to a tee. It does a lot with the brain because once the brain is in teaching mode it does stop. The human brain!
